We're here for you.
Welcome to the Berkshire County Retirement System. We have been proudly serving the retirement needs of Berkshire County's hard working municipal employees since 1937.
We serve more than 2,000 active and retired Berkshire County Retirement System members.
Commonwealth of Massachusetts public employees are not covered under Social Security. Instead they are covered by a Contributory Retirement System, which we administer on their behalf, or an OBRA plan.
This website is designed to be an informative and useful resource for:
Active Members - Current Berkshire County Municipal Employees
Retirees - Retired Berkshire County Municipal Employees
Treasurers & Employers - Those who oversee payrolls and benefits for Berkshire County Municipal Employees
